Several of our full time staff, led by President Steve Fenton are solely focused on systematic development of innovative new products. We offer experimental development services directly targeting our customers’ current engineering challenges. These focused and systematic design and prototype efforts invariably uncover technical advantages to the end product not yet available on the world market. We are able to accomplish these engineering achievements through our active participation in the Canadian government’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development, or SR&ED program.
Our firm has a solid technical design and manufacturing base that commenced with ISO pneumatic cylinders, valves, quick connect couplers and automation technologies from our inception in 1997. Since 2003, we have steadily migrated away from standard industrial product production focus and are now corporately settled on uncovering new technology especially in the aerospace field.
In order to better equip our firm with the tools to best approach experimental development, we have procured an environmental test chamber, microscopic measurement system, CNC lathes, and a CNC milling center. Our development focus starts with our president Steve Fenton:
“We have completely changed direction as a firm from a sales and marketing standpoint. Up to 2003, we produced parts to meet our customer’s standard product demands. Once our shelves were stocked we relied on our sales and distribution team to market these fluid power components to our customer base. Now, we are in constant communication with our aerospace OEM manufacturing customers along with our strong technical distributor base and have replaced our standard product marketing with systematic experimental research efforts to uncover possible solutions to specific technical uncertainties. This focus shift to experimental development and away from standard selling has positioned us with a strong reputation as a firm that often uncovers new products when standard engineering practices can not. The key to our success is through our tenacity towards reaching the required breakthrough. As each engineering challenge is uncovered, we fully test each possible solution until the best option is understood and then perform exhaustive product failure analysis before moving ahead.”
